Rui Borges makes history at Moreirense

Moreirense finished the 2023/24 League with a 2-1 victory over Estoril, which allowed them to reinforce 6th place, the best classification ever, with a record number of points: 55. Never in history has Moreira de Cónegos' club had achieved a championship of this magnitude.
Rui Borges was the helmsman in a historic season and Castro also celebrated at the end, he was the starter in the victory of this last round.
“Anyone who loves the club will not forget us. Throughout my life, what guides me is marking the people we work with on a daily basis. I hope they talk about me as a good coach, but also for who we are as human beings”, said Rui Borges after the meeting.
