Jonathan Toro enjoys the best season of his career

Jonathan Toro concluded the 2025/26 season as one of Petro de Luanda’s standout performers, posting the best numbers of his senior career.

The Honduran international featured in 40 official matches, scored eight goals and provided seven assists, setting new personal bests for appearances and goals in a single season.

Having already played an important role for the Angolan champions over the previous two campaigns, Toro managed to raise his level even further in 2025/26. In the Girabola, he ranked among the players with the highest direct involvement in goals, combining goals scored and assists provided.

At the age of 29, Jonathan Toro has therefore enjoyed the most productive season of his professional career.
