Jefferson Encada aims to participate in the African Cup of Nations (CAN), which starts this Saturday, with Guinea Bissau, and in which he will participate for the second time, after his debut in 2021.
“Ready to fight for these people. If it were easy it wouldn't be for us... We are used to sacrifices and struggles and we will once again dignify this symbol that we carry with dedication on the field”, wrote the player on his Instagram account.
Guinea Bissau is part of the so-called group of death with the hosts Ivory Coast, who are the first opponents, in the opening game of the competition this Saturday, and also Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea.
“I will never walk alone or for myself, it will always be for you”, concluded the Pharco full-back.
Guinea Bissau is looking for its first appearance in the round of 16, in what is its fourth consecutive participation in the competition.
