Candeias Helps Académica Return to Liga 2

Daniel Candeias celebrates Académica's promotion to Liga 2.
This Saturday, the historic Coimbra club beat Trofense 3-0 and secured 2nd place in the Liga 2 Promotion Phase, allowing their return to the second tier of Portuguese football.
Candeias came on in the second half to contribute to the promotion.
At 38 years old, this was a winning bet for Candeias, who played in Turkey last season but decided to return to Portugal.
It's another achievement in a full career, which includes national titles in Portugal with FC Porto, and has included spells in German, French, Spanish, Scottish and Turkish football, as well as several other prominent clubs in Portugal.
