Alexandre Santos has reached the semifinals of the African Champions League.
The Portuguese coach led FAR Rabat to a 2-1 victory in Egypt against Pyramids FC. The first leg in Morocco ended 1-1.
Alexandre Santos' team scored early, increased their lead in the second half, and despite conceding a goal to the Egyptians, held on to the victory until the end and celebrated their qualification.
In the semifinals, FAR Rabat will face the winner of the tie between RS Berkane, also from Morocco, and Al-Hilal Omdurman, from Sudan.
